  16. Synopsis:
  17. Using C-Kermit 7.0.195.Beta.02 on AIX 4.2.1 to dial a serial modem into
  18. a similar AIX box, then telnet from OS prompt to yet another AIX box.
  19. Then try and transfer a file with an ASCII 186 in it.  The transfer
  20. times out.  Don't know why, but removing that character removed the
  21. problem.  There are other > 127 characters in other files that are
  22. producing similar results.  What should I set things to?  It doesn't
  23. look like I can prefix this character (or the other ones).  Suggestions
  24. welcome.
